Spring is in full swing and Summer is right around the corner! In Houston that means there will be no shortage of art, design and music events happening around the city. With our theater district, museum scene and concert schedule it’s hard to narrow it down. Here are a few we at Neiter Creative plan on checking out…

Happy Hour Thursdays at MFAH

Complete with food trucks and exhibition-inspired cocktails, we plan on hitting up the Museum of Fine Arts Happy Hour (5-8pm Thursdays) all Summer long. Thursday is also the one day of the week admission is free and the museum is open late (until 9pm). What’s not to love?

Photography Composition Class

We are always looking to sharpen our photography skills and the Composition I: From Good to Great class (April 1st and 8th) at The Houston Center for Photography is the perfect place to do so.

Sparkling Wine Class

The Texas Wine School offers some great classes and this one couldn’t be more perfect for us. Champagne, Prosecco, or Cava, doesn’t matter, give us all the sparkling! April 27th from 7-9pm.

Chance the Rapper in the Woodlands

We try to make it up to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion at least once per summer. They have a stacked lineup this year but nothing stands out more than Chance the Rapper. We have been rocking out to his album in the office ever since it came out! Sunday May 7th.

Ron Mueck Exhibition at MFAH

Running through August 13th, we have plenty of time to check out the eerie lifelike sculptures of the Ron Mueck Exhibit. Some are only about 3 feet high and others are large enough to fill and entire gallery and look up to a year to complete.
